Meet Summit a.k.a. "Mr. Chill".

Summit is a 12 week old Husky/Shepherd Cross. He arrived into our care with his sister, Kita, from a remote Northern Ontario community.

 

Summit loves to be with people and loves a good belly rub. He is also doing very well with his command words and is eager to learn and be a good boy. He's also quite a vocal puppy and will happily let out a good belly howl. He is just a big floof full of love and affection.

Summit is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a problem. Like his sister, he eats in the crate and is good for at least 3 hrs alone during the day. Summit is good with other dogs and children. He has never met a cat, but his foster mom says she has no doubts that he would be fine with them. He does well on car rides as well—he just curls up and goes to sleep in his crate.

 

Summit is also working on his potty training and is progressing every day. He will often go to the door to be let out, and will only use the pee pads if his fosters are not up quick enough.

Summit is up-to-date on his vaccines and will need to be neutered before adoption but we are accepting applications on him now.
