Arya

​Arya is a 7 month old Hound mix and such an sweet, playful girl. She is tall and lean and currently weighs about 40lbs.

This happy-go-lucky pup loves everything and everybody. She enjoys playing with other dogs, her toys, and her people; throw a ball for her and she's your best friend. Arya has spent a lot of time in the water while with her foster and absolutely loves it! If you're looking for a furry friend to be able to take along to the lake, Arya is your girl. 

​

She's fully housetrained and sleeps in her crate without issue through the night. She is not thrilled about being left in her crate during the daytime but her foster is progressing with her in that respect. Arya does very well in the car and walks great on leash. She's very treat motivated which is perfect for training. Her fosters are currently working on her recall as well as her tendency to jump up, which her adopters will need to continue with regular training.

Arya is wonderful with respectful children and dogs; she has not been tested with cats but we suspect that there would be no concerns there either. She is just one of the happiest pups we've had with a wonderful temperament. We think Arya would make a perfect addition to any family!

Arya is currently in the process of completing her vetting and will be available for adoption very soon. We are accepting applications on her now.
