Sherwood is a 13 week old, Shepherd/Husky cross from Northern Ontario. He’s adventurous, inquisitive, energetic, highly food motivated, and affectionate.
Like all puppies, he’s learning what is and is not acceptable to chew on and bite so he needs to be supervised. Sherwood is house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands like sit and lie down (working on stay).
Sherwood and his sister, Koho, go for multiple trail walks every day and as a result, their off-leash recall is progressing very well. Leash training is something that his new family will need to work on with him. Sherwood has met cats and children and has done well with both, but doesn’t currently live with either.
He is currently in foster with his sister and two other dogs—a 13 year old male and a 2 year old male. He has learned and respects the fact that the older dog wants his own space while the younger dog is an acceptable playmate.
Sherwood would make an awesome companion for an active person or family.
