Pape is a fun loving, playful 10 month old puppy who loves other dogs and is pretty quick to befriend every human she meets.
Pape came to the Project Paws with itchy bloody bald spots due to demodex mange. This is not the contagious form of mange. Pape is healing nicely, we can see her beautiful coat thanks to the amazing care she received from her foster mom.
Pape is currently in a foster home with 3 other female dogs. She uses her mouth for play and has the characteristics of a typical Collie or herding breed.
She has a high prey drive and will chase anything small that moves. She also loves to play with her ball down the long hallway in her foster home.
She’s crate trained and she sleeps in her crate at night, often putting herself to bed when she’s ready. Pape is crated when left home alone. She also eats in her crate and tends to guard high value treats.
This stunning girl would benefit from a fenced-in yard and possibly another dog to play with, but definitely no cats.
