Mr. Smalls is a young Chihuahua mix, approximately 10lbs, coming to us from a local Toronto shelter.​ He is active, adorable and absolutely affectionate.

On initially meeting people, Mr. Smalls can be a little apprehensive and nervous. He seems to be more trusting of women at first, but give him space and a little time, and he'll soon be coming in for pets and cuddles.

Mr. Smalls loves to go on walks; he is very well behaved on leash and will walk right by your side. He is also great in the car and will lay quietly in his crate on the drive. He is incredibly smart and already sitting for treats and dinner. He's got quite a spring in his little legs as well—his foster believes he'd make an amazing agility dog.

Currently, he is being fostered with another dog and they seem to be getting along well. Mr. Smalls is respectful of his foster sister's space and listens when she corrects him. They get along better and better every day. She is bringing out his playful side and Mr. Smalls has started to show an interest in toys. He has not been tested with cats but believe he could do well with them as he has not shown to have a prey drive. Mr. Smalls would not be suitable in a home with small children.​

Mr. Smalls is working on his housetraining and progressing quickly. There was some marking in the foster home at first but that has since stopped and he's able to make it through the night without incident. Mr. Smalls is not crate trained but his fosters are working on it, although he is not destructive when left home alone.

Mr. Smalls is neutered, vaccinated and ready to find his forever home!
