Koho is a 13 week old Husky/Shepherd cross from Northern Ontario. She’s adventurous, inquisitive, energetic, highly food motivated, and affectionate.

Koho is very smart and has a great memory (which can sometimes get her into trouble). Like all puppies, she’s learning what is and is not acceptable to chew on and bite so she needs to be supervised.

Koho is house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands like "sit" and "lie down" (we are currently working on "stay"). Koho and her brother, Sherwood, are being fostered together and go for multiple trail walks every day. As a result, their off-leash recall is progressing very well. Leash training is something that her new family will need to work on with her.

Koho has met cats and children and has done well with both, but doesn’t currently live with either. She tends to jump up when she’s very excited meeting new people; this is something her new family will need to continue working on with her.

Koho currently lives with her brother, Sherwood, and two other dogs—a 13 year old male and a 2 year old male. She has learned and respects the fact that the older dog wants his own space while the younger dog is an acceptable playmate.

Koho would make an awesome companion for an active person or family.
